How it started

Eighteen years, then a move to the centre

Evora Care was established by a founder with over 18 years of experience in the disability care sector.

Driven by a deep passion for delivering care and engaging with communities, the founder moved to Alice Springs and began working with community members through trained service teams, providing supports for participants and being part of community development rather than a visitor to it.

That’s still how the organisation works. Decisions are made here. Staff are recruited and trained here. When something needs sorting out, you’re talking to someone in Alice Springs, not a call centre in another state.

Your goals set the plan. Our job is to make them workable and then get out of the way as you do them.

The same support workers, week to week. Trust is built by turning up, not by a service agreement.

Respect for country and culture

We work on Arrernte country and across Central Australian communities. How we work there is led by the people who belong there.

Say it plainly

Clear reports, clear costs, clear answers. If we can’t do something, we tell you and help you find who can.

Distance is not an excuse

Remote and very remote communities get a real service, with the vehicles and staff to back it up.

Safe, always

NDIS registered, NT registered, with the screening, training and reporting that goes with it.
