Where we travel
Fifteen communities, by road and by air
Everything runs out of Alice Springs. We support participants across fifteen remote and very remote communities, by fully equipped 4WD where we can drive and by air where we can’t.

Our story
Experience Evora’s Care
Evora Care was started by a founder with 19 years in the disability care sector, who moved to Alice Springs because this is where the work mattered most.
What began as one person’s commitment is now trained service teams working across town and out bush, delivering supports for participants while being genuinely part of community development rather than visitors to it.

How do I get started with Evora Care?
You can get started today. Call us on 1300 889 440 for a chat about what you need. We also offer a one-to-one consultation, in person at the Activity Centre or over the phone, to go through the services you’re looking for and your requirements.
What services does Evora Care provide?
We provide six main services:
- Assistance with self-care
- Supported Independent Living (SIL)
- Individual Living Options (ILO)
- Community access
- Skill development
- Employment assistance, including our Evora Car Wash program
Programs at the Activity Centre on Colson Street run alongside these.
Do you travel out to remote communities?
Yes. Enabling access to remote and very remote communities is core to what we do, not an add-on. We run wheelchair-accessible vans and fully equipped 4WDs fitted with bullbars, recovery kits and satellite communications, and our staff are 4WD-trained for very remote travel. See where we travel.
Where is the Activity Centre and what happens there?
The Evora Care Activity Centre is at 3/1 Colson Street, Alice Springs NT 0870. Programs run there include music therapy, arts and crafts, a computer skills program and wellness therapy. You’re welcome to drop in during business hours, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

How do you keep families and coordinators updated?
Goals are set weekly and progress is reported monthly in writing. With your consent, those reports go to whoever you want to have them: family, guardians or your plan manager.
